You can see what it costs before you call. These are the same prices we post on our own site.
Prices can change a little once we see your pool size and equipment. Filter cleaning depends on the type and size of the filter. You always get the price before we start, and the quote is free.
Hand us the whole pool, or keep the brushing and let us handle the chemistry. Filters and repairs are there when you need them.

We skim, vacuum, brush, empty the baskets, balance the chemicals and check the equipment, so all you do is swim.
Details
A full chemical balance every week, and we empty the baskets. You keep up with the cleaning.
Details
One visit to get a neglected or green pool back on track, or to get it ready for a weekend.
Details
Pull, clean and reinstall your filter. We suggest it at least every four months.
Details
Broken equipment replaced, old pumps and filters upgraded, salt systems kept running, and pools started up.
DetailsTwo jobs from the photos we posted on Yelp. One was water, the other was the equipment that moves it.

Clear water can still be out of balance, and that is what wears out liners, heaters and pumps early. Here is what happens when each reading drifts, taken from the answers on our FAQ.
The water turns corrosive. It etches plaster, corrodes metal, stains the walls, wrinkles vinyl liners and stings eyes.
The water starts to scale, which clogs the filter and heater, slows circulation and clouds the water. The chlorine stops working well, too.
The pH bounces around, which leads to etching, staining and heaters that fail early.
The pH gets stuck, and you end up with cloudy water, rough surfaces and clogged filters and heaters.
The water turns aggressive and pulls calcium out of the plaster, which causes etching and heater failure.
Scale builds up, so surfaces get rough, the water clouds, filters and heaters clog, and skin can itch.
Sun burns the chlorine off and the pool can't hold a sanitizer level.
Cloudy water, and your alkalinity readings come out wrong.
Algae and bacteria get a foothold. That strong "chlorine smell" usually means too little, not too much.
Home pools should sit between 1.0 and 4.0 ppm. Swimsuits don't bleach until about 30 to 40 ppm.
Keeping these in line every week is the whole job of our chem-only service. More answers on the pool care page.

Splash Brothers Pool Service is family owned and operated. Chris Brothers is the owner, and his name and number are the ones on the flyer.
Chris is a Certified Pool Operator, so the chemistry gets done by test, not by eye. We keep things reliable, the prices stay reasonable, and if a job is outside what we do, we know someone who does it and we will point you to them. We want you to have a backyard you can relax in on the weekend, safe for your family to swim in.
These are our photos from pools and equipment pads we have worked on.

We are based in Valley Springs, in Calaveras County, and that is where our customers are. Summers here are long and hot, which is exactly when a pool needs regular care.

Full service is $150 a month and we do everything: skim, vacuum, brush, baskets, chemicals and an equipment check. Chem-only is $120 a month. We balance the water every week and empty the baskets, and you do the cleaning.
Yes. We are licensed and insured, and our business license number is BL-0020949. Chris is a Certified Pool Operator.
We suggest 6 to 8 hours a day. Once the water climbs above 80 degrees, which happens a lot here in summer, run it 8 to 12 hours.
Algae needs nutrients, sunlight and something to cling to. Keeping the sanitizer level right and brushing regularly are the best ways to stop it. Green algae tends to show up after a few hot days. Black algae hides in corners and behind ladders where the water does not move much.
We don't recommend it. Pool chemicals lose strength over time, and storing them for a year is a safety risk. Never put them in the trash or down a drain. A pool professional can take leftovers away and dispose of them properly.
